Vertex has been working on reducing the volume of plastic containers going to landfill for some time now. Leading the industry in this field, they have invested in placing portable recycle plants into both their Auckland and Christchurch branches. The company offers a collection service on their used oil containers. Once collected, the containers are processed at their recycle plants using high speed shredders and the ground up plastic is then delivered to Future Post where it is used as a raw material in the manufacture of their Fencing and Landscaping Products.
